Avengers | Infinity War

In the latest installment in the Marvel Cinematic Universe, the Avengers must put aside their differences after the catastrophic events of ‘Captain America: Civil War’ and rally together to defeat their biggest villain yet, the mighty and cruel Thanos. Thanos is hard at work collecting all the mythic Infinity Stones to harness their power and bring about quite possibly the apocalypse.
For this mammoth mission, the Avengers will unite forces with the Guardians of the Galaxy as they travel through space trying to mar Thanos’ advances, Black Panther of the newly-made-public Wakanda, and the mystic Doctor Strange. Only working together will they be able to put a stop to the threat that is Thanos.
‘Avengers: Infinity War’ has, without a doubt, been Marvel’s most anticipated film in recent years. It has been a long time coming – it was first announced in 2014. But it is finally here – the biggest character crossover event ever!
Some people were concerned that Marvel might have been biting off more than they could chew – were they being overly ambitious with their desire to bring a whole bunch of their most iconic characters together for their most challenging mission to date? The studio has once again proved itself by delivering a film that most fans will be able to relish!
The action is good. The acting is good. The coming of Thanos and the end of the world might have made for an incredibly serious film but the script makes time to inject a bit of humour into the plot which just makes that bit more entertaining. Impressive action sequences are expected in any Marvel film. ‘Avengers: Infinity War’ goes a step further and manages to deliver moments that will shock viewers.
An element of the film that sticks out particularly is the film’s ability to masterfully link up all the different action sequences and turn ‘Avengers: Infinity War’ into a cohesive and impressive specimen of action and comic book film making.
The film is out now in cinemas the world over. If you are a fan of the franchise this is one you cannot miss!
