Motorsport trade show, Autosport International at Birmingham’s NEC saw visitor numbers up over 100% on last year.
Visitors enjoyed an array of the best parts of motorsports from across the world including displays of all types of racing cars from grassroots to Formula 1.
Over the weekend celebrities took to the stage telling audiences about their experiences and stories. Highlights on the main stage were F1 race winner Charles Leclerc and the all new women’s W series ambassador David Coulthard.
Autosport Sales Director, Valentyna Podgorodetska, said: “The Live Action Arena has been particularly popular with crowds wowed by stunt performances including the two seater drag racer making its first loud and impressive indoor appearance.
“We are celebrating the 30th year of the show and seven decades of the Autosport Magazine and taking the opportunity to look 70 years into the future as well as celebrating the past with significant cars from every decade.”
Britain’s biggest motorsport championship, the Kwik Fit British Touring Car Championship saw star drivers Tom Ingram, Dan Cammish, Colin Turkington and Andrew Jordan taking to the main stage to answer questions from fans.
Other stars that made an appearance were rally legend Ari Vatanen, former F1 drivers Johnny Herbert and Karun Chandhok, 2019 W Series champion Jamie Chadwick and four-time British Touring Car Champion Colin Turkington.
Joining this star studded line up was 2019 European Rally Champion Chris Ingram; the British driver met fans and signed autographs.
