Ariana Grande Shared Her Tattoo in Tribute to Manchester Victims

Pop star Ariana Grande honored the memory of the victims of the Manchester Arena tragic incident by showing her new bee Tattoo on one year anniversary of the bombing.
On May 22nd, 2017, a suicide bomb exploded during an Ariana Grande concert in Manchester , left killing 22 and injuring 59 where fans were leaving the show.
One year later, the singer is still honoring the victims and survivors on Tuesday by showing a tattoo of a worker bee, which has long been a symbol of the city and gained popularity in the wake of the attack, appearing on banners, posters, and items sold to raise money for victims.
The tattoo is placed behind her ear, a design about the size of a finger nail, where its wings form the outline of a heart. Sharing a black and white photo, she used the caption “forever,” which could symbolize the victims who have passed.
The design isn’t unique to just Grande, where the ink idea surfaced last year through tattoo artist Sam Barber, who created it in order to help raise money for the victims’ families.
Grande also gave a subtle nod to the city and people of Manchester at the end of her “No Tears Left to Cry” video, when a single bee flies across the screen in the final seconds of the song.
“Thinking of you all today and every day. I love you with all of me and am sending you all of the light and warmth I have to offer on this challenging day”, wrote Ariana of support on the anniversary of the tragedy earlier this week.
