Arabinda Das Gupta’s Virtual Art Exhibition


Painter Arabinda Das Gupta inaugurated his fourth solo exhibition in a virtual space on Tuesday. The 10- day exhibition, ‘Plabone Shwapan Buni’ (Sowing dreams in Cataclysm) is organized by the Shah Alam Gallery of fine arts and will run till 31 of July. Anika Khan Reports.

The exhibition will display a total of 63 paintings by Arabinda representing elements of romanticism portraying beautiful rural landscapes and highlights the unique Asian culture. Arabinda has used different mediums of art, pencil sketches, and watercolors to present his work. All the pictures are available to be viewed and purchased online.

Many notable speakers were present in the inauguration of the exhibition last Tuesday through Video conferences. Jamal Ahmed, the professor at Dhaka University and Harold Rasheed, the painter and Patron of the Gallery presided the session. Minister of Foreign Affairs, Dr. A K Abdul Momen was amongst one of the key speakers of the online event.
