Alan Tudyk Joins 'Doom Patrol' as Mr. Nobody

Doom Patrol has found its villain. Alan Tudyk has been cast as Eric Morden/Mr. Nobody in DC Universe’s upcoming live-action series, from Greg Berlanti and Warner Bros TV.
The series will be a spin-off of fellow DC series Titans, which sees Batman’s protégé Robin (Brenton Thwaites) form his own superhero team. Doom Patrol revolves around a group of outcast heroes who band together to go on weird adventures, and Tudyk will be playing the insane Mr. Nobody.
In the comics, originally created back in the 1960s Arnold Drake, Bob Haney and Bruno Premian, Mr. Nobody is also known as Eric Morden, who is exposed to unknown experiments by Nazis in hiding in post-war Paraguay. He emerges as a living shadow able to drain the sanity of others as an enigmatic, and totally insane bad guy.
Alan Tudyk joins a Doom Patrol cast comprised of Brendan Fraser as Robotman, Joivan Wade as Cyborg, April Bowlby as Elasti-Woman, and Diane Guerrero as Crazy Jane. The heroes are called into action by Cyborg, who is a new kind of hero suited for the new digital age. Rejected by society due to their powers, they will band together to venture into some of the most bizarre aspects of the DC world.
As well as finding fame on cult classic Firefly, Tudyk is also known for his roles as the Duke of Weselton in Frozen, K-2SO in Rogue One: A Star Wars Story and Mr Osmund Priest in Dirk Gently’s Holistic Detective Agency. Tudyk recently co-starred on NBC’s superhero comedy series Powerless and voices a character on another superhero comedy, Amazon’s The Tick.
Doom Patrol is set to debut on the DC Universe service in 2019.
