Taylor Swift has created a new record as the most cumulative weeks spent at Number One for a female artist on Billboard 200. Puza Snigdha reports.
After canceling all the shows due to COVID-19, Swift dropped the surprise album “Folklore” which has marked it’s position at the Billboard album chart this summer. “Folklore” came out back in July which is a indie folk, alternative rock, electro-folk, and chamber pop album.

The album has become the No. 1, and the longest streak at the top of the chart. The album “Folklore” tops Whitney‘s own record, remaining NO. 1 across all of her chart-topping albums.
Reportedly, the album “Folklore” has earned 87,000 equivalent album units in the U.S. in the week ending Sept. 24.
“Folklore” has sold 860,000 copies of its complete album version in US, nearly 700 million streams and two billion streams across the world.
However, the cardigan singer performed ‘Betty’ at the 2020 Academy of Country Music Awards. The live recording was released on streaming services last week.
