Mondocane

Mondocane film is directed by Alessandro Celli. The movie is about two best friends Pietro and Cristian plan for escaping their hardscrabble existence for a better life. They wish for stepping into new Taranto a place on Italy’s southern coast. The city itself becomes a toxic wasteland surrounded by barbed wire by warring gangs.  A local gang leader fantasized about them with money in their pockets, a family, and a father figure. The friendship begins to split and the climax begins from this point. The film is a total package of drama, crime, sci-fi and starring Alessandro Celli, Alessandro Borghi, Giuliano Soprano, Dennis Protopapa.

This film was released on May 20, 2022.

Prehistorical Planet

Prehistorical Planet is mainly a documentary movie and its main theme lay under its title. The series was made by BBC Studios Natural History Unit and it shows the experience of the wondrous story of life on earth about 66 million years ago. Set to debut globally on Apple TV+ from Monday, May 23 to Friday, May 27. The five-episode groundbreaking series will transport viewers 66 million years in the past to discover our world.  The dinosaurs that roamed the earth, all in stunning detail narrated by Sir David Attenborough with an original score by multiple Oscar-winner Hans Zimmer.

The documentary series streaming on Apple TV+ starting May 23, 2022.

Emergency

It’s an American satirical thriller film directed by Carey Williams. Starring Marty Bowen, RJ Cyler, Carey Williams, Diego Abraham, John Fischer, KD Davila, Sebastian Chacon, Sabrina Carpenter. The story is about two best friends who are both seniors in college and about to embark on an epic night of Spring Break parties. They planned out every party they will hit on their “legendary tour.” They return to their apartment and discover a drunk, semi-conscious White female they don’t know on the floor and an oblivious roommate didn’t hear her come in over the videogame blaring in his ears. To avoid the suspicion of cops they headed with the intention of taking her somewhere safe rather than calling the police. Meanwhile, Emma’s sister realized that Emma left the party they were at, and begins to search for her in a drunk panic using Emma’s phone’s location. The film creates a chaotic, hilarious, and tension-filled chase situation. It premiered at the 2022 Sundance Film Festival.

Limitedly released on May 20, 2022, by Amazon Studios, and by Amazon Prime released on May 27, 2022.

A Taste of Whale

A Taste of Whale is a documentary about the whale hunt tradition in the Faroe Islands that’s long been condemned by animal rights activists. The documentary is filmed by Vincent Kelner. Starring Vincent Kelner, Jens Mortan Rasmussen, Torik Abraham Rough, Lamya Essemlali, Runi Nielsen. It shows the fjord’s water is surrounded by stunning green mountains and it suddenly turned blood red. It is the “Grind” season again when Faroe Islanders celebrate the ritual of slaughtering pilot whales. The story shows two proud Faroese whalers on one side, and two young and passionate Sea Shepherd activists on the other. A Taste of Whale invites you to see past preconceived positions and question what meat-eating is truly about. This documentary also got nominee for Docaviv International Documentary Film Festival and Copenhagen International Documentary Film Festival in 2022.

Kismis (Raisins)

Kishmish is a Bengali romantic love story movie directed by Rahul Mukherjee. The lead characters are Dev, Rukmini Maitra and the supporting cast includes Kharaj Mukherjee, Kamaleshwar Mukherjee, Anjana Basu, and June Malia. The movie plot starts by showing two people from almost opposite poles. By starting with a fight, they came to realize it converted into love. The word love is just like raisins.  Even though it looks bad, it tests sweet to eat. The film exposes the complexity of the relationship and the love of a family relationship.
