The crisis in Ukraine accelerates, which too often escalates the conflict in Eastern Europe with military deployments, seems like everyone is in the mood for “just wars.” But now is the time for creative thinking to avoid a humanitarian and environmental catastrophe about to happen for the war started between Ukraine and Russia.
Some of the root causes of the current crisis are embedded in the complex history of Ukraine and Russia. The war needs to be stopped as the situation is getting worse with each passing day.

NATO is the Cause of War – It Should Be Banned!
The expansion of NATO has become the flashpoint of Ukraine and Russia tensions as a result the invasion was led by Putin towards Ukraine because Putin had warned before about its expansion around Russia and Ukraine. According to Russia, the United States and NATO had violated pledges allegedly made earlier which was the alliance would not expand into the former Soviet bloc. As the whole thing started off with ceasing expanding eastward of NATO so it must get to a conclusion and be banned.
Russia & Ukraine Must Cease-Fire
After 4 days of the Russian invasion of Ukraine, both of them agreed and sit for a peace talk yesterday, 28 Feb 2022. But the Fighting continued till the fifth day of Russia’s invasion of Ukraine that is today despite talks aimed at securing a ceasefire. Reports say both sides had agreed to continue talking and would meet again “in the next few days”. So hopefully the second session of peace talk bring some good news for the world and establish a cease-fire.
Less Military spending
No Country Should Be Allowed to Spend More Than 1% of Its GDP on Military. As with any government spending way more on the Military, this affects directly on the economy. The Stockholm International Peace Research Institute (SIPRI) has excellent data on military spending count by nations of the world. According to its research, the five biggest spenders in 2019 were the United States, China, India, Russia, and Saudi Arabia. Together, these countries made up around 60% of global military spending. So, all the countries should be taking this measure into their account and start spending less on the Military which will help to prevent wars.
End All Wars
WAR is something nobody supports except the fascists. War brings sorrows, hurdles, sufferings, famine, recession, economic devastation, deaths, and many more. So, we must “end all wars, while ending all Military Interventions, Arms Sales, Foreign & Domestic Repression.
De-invest Military Budget Free Education, Housing & Poverty Reduction
De-invest Military Budget can be a great way to eliminate risks of economic shutdown and manage war times crises. As well as most of the leading countries of the world spend more of their GDP shouldn’t be this way. Moreover, if people can de-invest military budget it can be used for greater purposes like being used as a budget for Free Education, Housing & Poverty Reduction. This way balance in life and countries of the people will be achieved and wars can be stopped.
