Workers strike continues in action in South London’s Hospital

GMB today announces that a South London hospital is going to continue the strike for their outsourced staff. The strike is all about the feud regarding their pay and the working conditions.

St George’s Hospital, Tooting

The union confirms that new cleaners and hostesses were employed by the contractor Mitie at St George’s Hospital in Tooting. They will be withdrawing their labor and go on a strike on July 17, 20, 21, 23 and 24. Mitie had employed these employers only after the recent walkouts in these 10 days. This workers strike against Mitie might prove as a revolution for them.

The workers protest against their bosses holding them accused for restricting their wages. Their is a work to rule policy for the workers but the workers refuse to engage themselves in any work outside their contract. St George’s University Hospitals NHS Foundation Trust had to intercede because the management is involved in the menacing scheme said GMB. Strike continues amongst the workers.
Mitie is anyway accountable for this upheaval. Mitie getting away with this situation might provoke inferiority among bad employers around UK. This dispute gave a severe blow to the hospital.

Strike will tend to continue against Mitie if the workers doesn’t receive their proper rights. If the hospital is not meting out this dispute then it might end up into a long continued dispute. Mitie refuses of the opinion which says that the workers salary had been restricted. The hospital authority is up for fixing out this dispute.
