Rapper, record producer, and record executive Rakim Athelaston Mayers, better known by his stage name ASAP Rocky, was born in the United States on October 3, 1988. He began his musical career as a member of the hip-hop group ASAP Mob, from which he took his stage name. He was born and raised in Harlem. Rocky’s song “Peso,” which was leaked online in August 2011, soon started getting radio play. Live. Love, Rocky’s debut mixtape, was made available. Later that year, A$AP received a lot of positive press. His regarded breakthrough project’s success resulted in a combined record agreement with Polo Grounds Music and Sony Music’s RCA Records. It is a delight for WhatsOn Guide to publish Rock & Roll publication.
