The story of Victoria, a young girl with passion and talent for finding things with a bridge and some elements that take her anywhere she needs to be. Thus she came across Charlie Manx, who lures kids Christmasland, a place of horror. Victoria is the only child who escaped. Many years later, Charlie picked Victoria’s son to take revenge. 

Pumpkinheads by Rainbow Rowell

If you’re looking for a book to read this Halloween but nothing horror “Pumpkinheads” is the right fit for you. This is a cherished graphic novel about two best friends who work together every fall at a pumpkin patch. The story is based on how they are discovering the essence of life and how they leave behind places and people without any regrets.

My Heart Is a Chainsaw is Jade Daniels’s story, her homage to horror and revenge and triumph. How she escaped and think of life as a horror movie. Whenever something horrible happens around her, she tries to save others with her filmy knowledge yet no one wants to be around her.

The Ghost Bride by Yangsze Choo

The Ghost Bride is about a girl who becomes betrothed to a family’s dead son, thus becoming a ‘ghost bride’. This story is a fascinating blend of historical, paranormal, romance, and mystery, and even includes a trip to the Plans of the Dead.
