‘Veere Di Wedding’ is an upcoming 2018 Indian Hindi female buddy comedy film and revolves around Kareena playing a to-be-bride and her girlfriends who attend her wedding. The story revolves around the lives of four best friends, who are on their way to find true love. However, their strong bond is put to test when an unusual situation occurs.
The film captures all the fun that takes place during the wedding time. It showcases women and their emotions. The film will predominantly be shot in the capital city of Delhi and a few sequences in Bangkok. The trailer shows four girlfriends going through rather bumpy times in their relationships, either getting married or pushed into marriage, a boring marriage or an impending divorce. It’s a bunch of hot, dirty-talking girls trying to “figure out life”.
Kareena Kapoor Khan is all set to make her comeback into films post her pregnancy through this film. She said “It’s a different kind of movie. It’s a story of four friends. It’s not the typical boy-meets-girl romance which I think I’ve done so much of. So I thought this should be different. It’s a small film, made by women. The producers are women – Rhea (Kapoor) and Ekta (Kapoor). I think it’s a special film and people will appreciate it.”
