To celebrate National Afternoon Tea Week (13th-19th August), Choc on Choc (www.choconchoc.co.uk) is launching the UK’s first deliciously decadent ‘choc swap’ afternoon tea made entirely of chocolate at the London Marriott Hotel Park Lanel in its Lanes of London restaurant.
Guests will be able to indulge in all of their favourite traditional afternoon elements, but some of these have been swapped out for their lifelike chocolate counterparts.
Priced at £39.50 per person, the bespoke afternoon tea features a selection of Lanes of London’s delicious finger sandwiches, scones and pastries alongside Choc on Choc’s chocolate cucumber sandwiches, chocolate biscuits and chocolate custard creams that look just like the real thing. A real showstopper is the chocolate scone, which oozes jam when you slice through the middle.
Each part of the chocolate afternoon tea is handmade from the finest Belgian milk and white chocolate. It is created using Choc on Choc’s patented production method that layers chocolate on top of chocolate and allows its master chocolatiers to produce any design imaginable.
This exclusive afternoon tea is available between midday to 5pm at the London Marriott Hotel Park Lane, Lane’s of London restaurant, an all-day casual dining destination serving fresh British ingredients in a modern and relaxed setting, situated on London’s prestigious Park Lane, Lanes.
