U.S. President Donald Trump is Set to Visit to UK this Week

Following the confirmation out on April 26, Donald Trump is going to UK to visit queen which will begin on Thursday, July 12 after Mr Trump departs Brussels following a summit of Nato leaders.
The visit was initially announced in January of 2017 during Prime Minister Theresa may’s visit to the White House, when she extended an invitation to President Donald Trump and the First Lady from Queen Elizabeth II.
The White House and Downing Street have drawn up a schedule packed with military pageantry to highlight the defence alliance between the UK and America.
The British government has offered to pay up to £5million for golfing costs if Trump goes Scotland later this month.
According to a report, Trump and First Lady Melania, who arrive on Air Force One on Thursday, will largely be kept away from protests in London. Later he will be treated to a lavish dinner and concert at Winston Churchill’s birthplace.
After that he is planning to travel to Scotland. An itinerary for that portion of his trip has yet to be made public.
Back in January, Trump canceled a visit to the United Kingdom amid threats of protest. He tweeted that the reason was because he was unhappy that the U.S. embassy was moving.
“Reason I canceled my trip to London is that I am not a big fan of the Obama Administration having sold perhaps the best located and finest embassy in London for “peanuts,” only to build a new one in an off location for 1.2 billion dollars,” the president tweeted.”Bad deal. Wanted me to cut ribbon-NO!”
