Twitter: A Lossmaking Venture for Elon Musk?

People are excited since Elon Musk has takeover Twitter. But the real concern is whether Musk would be able to turn Twitter from a lossmaking to a profit-making business or not.

Musk makes it clear that for him Twitter is not a profit-making venture, rather it is a platform for the future of civilization.

As you can see, in about 9 years, Twitter made a profit in 2018 & 2019. They are about to release their new report. The experts are expecting the company to make a profit this quarter.

Compared to Facebook’s business model, Twitter is a little different. The company’s revenues mainly come from direct ads.

Musk may not think Twitter is a profit-making company. But there is a possibility of turning the company into a profit-making project. He did not share any of his thoughts yet on this topic.

The experts do not seem concerned though, they think Musk would have his own plan for the company. Let us all wait and see…

Here is an unpopular idea that can help Musk save some of his money.
