Scouting For Girls

Childhood friend indie pop band Scouting for Girls gained popularity when their 2007 delf-titled debut went on to become triple platinum. With famous hits such as ‘She’s So Lovely’ and ‘Heartbeat’, they’ve had countless nominations for awards such as the Brits and an Ivor Novello as well as playing sold on concerts everywhere including festivals and Wembley Arena itself. This three-piece continues to tour their classic Britpop with influences of their favourite childhood artists such as Phil Collins, Tears For Fears, The Waterboys and more.

Pixies

The Pixies are an American alternative rock band formed in 1986, in Boston. Known for their distinctive blend of punk, and indie rock music, characterised by their cryptic lyrics and dynamic song structures. Their most influential albums include “Surfer Rosa” (1988) and “Doolittle” (1989) which feature songs like “Where is My Mind?” and “Debaser” which became key anthems in alternative rock music. While having initially limited success in the US, they found themselves achieving great success in Europe, being particularly influential on the Britpop scene.

Fever Ray

Karin Dreijer, known musically as Fever Ray, is a Swedish singer-songwriter. She rose to prominence as one-half of the electronic music duo “The Knife”, alongside her brother Olof Dreijer. Fever Ray as a solo artist represents a more experimental and atmospheric musical territory. Characterised by her haunting vocals and electronic production, as well as lyrics that often explore themes of identity gender and the human condition.  Dreijer’s stage personas in itself is captivating and enigmatic which adds to the overall experience of her performances.

Strandz is a rapper from Croydon, London who has recently entered the UK rap scene. His rap music ventures into the genre of hip-hop using influences from 90s American hip-hop, delivering a nostalgic tone to his rap. His most recent song “Us Against The World” with Digga D is an evident appreciation and love of 90s rap which hit the UK top 20 in February. Strandz has shown a lot of potential as a newcomer, standing out in the UK rap scene which has been dominated by drill, something. Strandz has strayed away from, wanting to make sure he’s doing his own thing, using sample-driven US rap sound of the 2000s.
