Thursday Thrills: Events of the Week!

Events Editor Nicole Newman has a great week of events planned. The activities have already started, so don’t wait to lace on your shoes and engage in some excitement this week. The top happenings from the past week are listed below.

Karnaval Festival

18 – 19 Feb

Still in the thick of winter, there’s no better way to get warmed than dancing your socks off at a festival. The Netherlands is Europe’s biggest contender for hosting winter festivals this month. So if you need to banish the winter blues away then I’d highly recommend Karnaval Festival. Taking place at its new location in Pijnendijk Moergestel. It’s a perfect destination for a dance music weekend getaway and a double bonus of this two-day festival.

The big capacity event will be entertained by the huge line-up of DJs & live MCs. Sprawled across 5 stages with massive mind-blowing stage productions. This is one fun festival that will be keeping you busy on the dance floor for this marathon dance music event. Although, the music style is a celebration of the hardest dance so the tunes are gonna be big, bold, fast furious, and definitely heart-stopping for the fittest dance music lovers. Festival goers can also delight in all the usual festival etiquette making this a great start to the festival year 2023. The global DJ line-up includes D-Block & S-te-Fan, Sickmode, Natte Visstick, Mish, Aversion, Level One, Dimitri K, Major Conspiracy VS The Dope Doctor, MC Da Syndrome, Bart van Dishoeck, Immer Hansi, Otto Wunderbar, Schorre Chef & MC Vals.

Ensuring going out on the highest high from one of the best London venues. Making its mark within dance music clubbing history, it’s going out with a bang. Everyone will be talking about this club for years to come with joy but also grief for what has gone. This weekend features there 3 stellar events to choose from all equally as successful as each other. Friday night is my pick for your weekend for the line-up including my favorite DJ double act headlining are 2manyDJs. I’ve lost count of how many times I have seen them, DJ, over 2 decades. They always deliver on every expectation.

They have millions of fans worldwide and never disappoint. Alongside on this special night is their long-time friend Erol Alkan as well as Charlotte Adigéry & Bolis Pupul [live], Kittin, and Mixhell. This is a willy wonka golden ticket event and already sold out but if by chance an offer of a ticket comes your way, take it without question. Friday will see a crowd of 6000 strong clubbers turn up and turnout for the night of their life.
