The Strangers: Prey at Night

In 2008, a smaller scale horror movie came out about a group of masked home invaders attacking a couple and tormenting them. It wasn’t the most memorable horror movie and over time has sunk into the depths of obscurity within an ocean of similar slashers. Jump forward ten years and it seems the trio of masked killers are back, this time terrorising a family at their isolated mobile trailer park over Labour Day. The trailer attempts to pick up and dust off the tropes that people may remember, but would need to seriously distance itself from the original to wow a big audience this time, making sure to avoid making the same mistakes of the first instalment. I’d be careful and wait for the initial reviews to come in before trusting this one.
