knysnaliteraryfestival.co.za
This festival is a five-day, unique literary “experience” with a diverse programme that touches on current affairs, politics, history and adventure, conservation, cuisine and storytelling, meaning there’s something for everyone. The 9th annual festival will be hosted from 9 – 11 March.
All best-selling authors are either local or have close ties to South Africa, and have been selected not only for their literary talents, but also for their skills in entertaining and delighting audiences with readings, conversations, debates and workshops.
Their goal is to promote South Africa’s rich literary heritage and stimulate the creative minds, literary awareness and create passion for reading and writing amongst students in Knysna from an early age.
