The biggest celebration in the British Urban Music Scene is back for its fourth year as The KA & GRM Daily Rated Awards announce the full first-round nominations list for this year’s ceremony at one of music’s legendary venues, Eventim Apollo on September 4 2018.
For the first time ever fans can now get tickets to watch the show. Attendees can expect live performances from some of their favourite artists. GRM Daily has nominated some of the most brightest names in music including Raye, Jorja Smith, J Hus, Dave and Krept & Konan. Track of the Year, Artist of the Year, Best Breakthrough and Video of the Year will be given to the best of the best. Big Shaq’s surprise hit ‘Mans Not Hot’ will be up against Stefflon Don’s ‘Hurtin Me.’
DJ Target, Charlie Sloth and Tim Westwood are all up for Radio DJ of the Year award for the second year in a row with new nominee A Dot, who has become a household name over the past year, presenting Sounds Like Friday Night with Greg James.
Black Panther’s stars Letitia Wright and Daniel Kaluuya are both nominated for Personality of the Year.
The award show will be help on Tuesday 4 September 2018.
