Artist: Shabazz Palaces
An acquired taste for many, even those within the hip hop family, Shabazz Palaces like to keep listeners on their toes.
The experimentalists usually shy away from going all out extreme but still
retain a reputation for weirding you out when least expected. ‘The Don Of Diamond Dreams’ is once again very much left field. It has much to be admired though including some lovely little jazz notations.
Not quite a masterpiece this is still an example of fine eccentricity.
