Tasty Tuesday: Easy Cookie Recipe!

Looking for a sweet and easy treat to make? Take a look at this super simple cookie recipe that is guaranteed to satisfy your sweet tooth!

Ingredients:

  • 100g granulated sugar
  • 165g brown sugar
  • 1 teaspoon salt
  • 115g unsalted butter, melted
  • 1 egg
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 155g cups all-purpose flour
  • ½ teaspoon baking soda
  • 110g chocolate chunks

Cooking:

First up, get a large bowl and whisk together the sugars, salt, and butter until a paste forms with no lumps. Next, whisk in the egg and vanilla, beating until again you have a smooth consistency. Once you’ve done this, sift in the flour and baking soda, then fold the mixture with a spatula or a wooden spoon. Next, fold in the chocolate chunks and leave to chill the dough for at roughly 30 minutes.

Once your mixture is complete, preheat oven to 180°C. Line a baking sheet with parchment paper or oil and then evenly spread your cookie dough onto the tray, ensuring that you leave enough room for each cookie to expand as it bakes.

Bake for 12-15 minutes, or until the edges have started to barely brown. Now, just wait to cool before you can enjoy!
