For one week in every May the Sydney Writers’ Festival brings together authors of the very best contemporary fiction and nonfiction, as well as some of the world’s leading public intellectuals, scientists and journalists. There is also Live & Local streaming program.
This is Australia’s largest annual celebration of literature and ideas. The 21st Sydney Writers’ Festival runs with 60 international and 400 Australian writers, academics and public figures. With the finest writing and storytelling at its core, this programming is driven by the ideas and issues that animate all types of literature.
