Super Bowl 2019: New England Patriots Win Over LA Rams 13-3

The New England Patriots beats Los Angeles Rams to win Super Bowl LIII 13-3 on Sunday at Mercedes-Benz Stadium in Atlanta which was the lowest scoring NFL championship game in history.
They have now won six Super Bowls together, extending their record for the most by a head coach and starting quarterback combination. With the win, the Patriots are tied with the Pittsburgh Steelers for the most Super Bowl titles in NFL history.
The win included 10 fourth quarter points from New England, who outscored the Rams 10-0 in the final 15 minutes. The only touchdown of the game was a two-yard punch into the end zone after a 29-yard reception by Rob Gronkowski that put the Patriots in prime position.
Winning the coin toss turned out to be the highpoint for the Rams. They put the ball into the hands of Brady, aiming to become the first player to win six Super Bowls. He looked anything but a man who had seen it all before though – on the first pass of the game he forced a throw to Chris Hogan.
After a touchback, a nearly disastrous screen to Cooks turns into a 19-yard catch-and-run to the 44. Gurley gains just one yard on first down, and a pressured Goff short-arms a pass to Woods, but on third-and-9, Goff finds Reynolds for 11. Clock to five minutes.
Brady, 41, became the first player ever to win six Super Bowls, 17 years after leading the Patriots to his first title way back in 2002.
“It probably won’t sink in for a very, very long time,” Tom Brady said. “I’m just so blessed to play with the best teammates through the years from our ’01 team and all the way through now. I love all those guys. That’s what makes this special, man.”
