Spotify Featuring Music Playlist Based on DNA

Spotify is now introducing a new feature which can creat custom playlist based on DNA. This update virsion of Spotify is knotted with Ancestry.com to allows anyone who has ever used the DNA service to find playlists linked to their heritage.
AncestryDNA users can now play a unique mix of music inspired by their origins. So, listeners can stream tracks from their ancestral place of origin. The playlist based on England features the likes of Dizzee Rascal and Stormzy. Spotify has created a huge range of playlist.
“Protecting our customers’ privacy is Ancestry’s highest priority. Spotify does not have access to DNA data of any Ancestry customers on the issue, said Ancestry in a statement to Pitchfork.
“Customers can manually input regions, into the playlist generator on Spotify and then a custom playlist is created with songs by artists from the various regions and across a wide variety of musical genres.”
The genealogy company claims the DNA test allows people to trace their origins to over 350 regions around the world, Promoting its own product. They can also see more than 190 migration stories, and even find new family members. Ancestry’s online services also extend to helping users trace their family tree by searching old records and tracing distant relatives.
Spotify has tripled the song numbers so the users can download and listen offline in the update virsion.Spotify Premium members can listen 10000 songs including previously restricted 3333 tracks.
On the other hand, Apple must still boost its service to help it grow. Keep in mind that it has more than 700 million active iPhone users but only 45 million of them are using and paying to use the service.
