Bands and musicians from all over South Africa come together to perform at this music festival. With traditional African music and music from the early days of folk and folk-rock, the festival has expanded over the years to include a wide range of popular and contemporary music including rock, blues, indie, house, and techno. It attracts more than 10,000 people from all corners of the country and abroad. This year’s edition will be held from 29 March until 1 April.
Beyond the live music performances there will be a wide selection of outdoor leisure activities for people all ages to enjoy, so it is a great event for families to attend together. There will be a variety of art and craft activities, movies, storytelling, singalongs, and puppet shows and morning yoga sessions to stay active.
