The Wellcome Collection asked four artists to interrogate four fields of major current scientific research for its new exhibition including the scientists who are working on them. Artists Martina Amati, Daria Martin, Maria McKinney and John Walter collaborated with scientists to explore ideas that are very much important to human life – ideas about our food sources, our senses, our sexual health and the limitations of our bodies.
