RE:Imagined 2018 Provides Creative Opportunities for Ill Children

Inspiring poorly children to express their creativity (and have fun whilst doing so) is the main goal of RE:Imagined 2018.
The event has been developed with purpose – to enable young patients at St George’s Hospital Gallery to showcase their creative talent and to make their stay at the ward (hopefully) more enjoyable for them.
RE:Imagined was arranged in alignment with Live Arts at St George’s and the St George’s Hospital Charity. It will take place from 9 May – 25 June and during this time there will be 2 art-based workshops and a school visit.
Last year’s edition of RE:Imagined was a real success, and it is this that has enabled the event to continue in 2018. The upcoming event will enable 10 emerging artists the chance to showcase their work in a very unique gallery space within the hospital.
There will also be work present by the curator of the show, Robert John, who was recently nominated for a Webby Award.
Robert John, Creator/Show Curator, What I See When I Look At, said: “I am delighted to be presenting the third show in such a unique and interesting space. It’s wonderful that so many people will be able to engage with the project and support the Hospital Charity through RE:Imagined 2018.”
