Period.

Author: Emma Barnett
Journalist Emma Barnett has always been very vocal about periods. Why is it that they are spoken about so little when they are so natural? Period poverty and tampon tax are just two of the issues the author touches upon. With Period, Barnett is breaking the taboo surrounding periods. By sharing her own and others’ period anecdotes and presenting thoroughly well researched facts, Barnett has done all women a favour. She is hoping to instill a sense of period pride and to break the taboo. I’d say she’s succeeded.
