Lily Allen has a reputation for being honest and she’s proved it once again during a spontaneous Q&A with her fans. She has revealed what her own least favourite song is during the Q&A.
Lily, who’s just released her fourth studio album No Shame, tweeted yesterday that she was “Bored on the Eurostar” and invited questions from fans to help pass the time on her long journey.
While she was asked about what her own least favourite song was, the singer quickly replied ‘Air Balloon’ which was released in 2014 – the third single from ‘Sheezus’ She didn’t disagree when a fan replied arguing that the song “stunk of label pressure as a lead single”.
Allen said: “For the last 10 years, people have tried really hard to reveal the most intimate details of my life without permission. So maybe this is me taking ownership of my narrative and presenting it in musical form.”
“I’ve got no control over what people are going to say about me, so I might as well try and get the truth across in the only way I can, which is music.”
The Q&A also revealed that 30-40 songs had been penned by the singer for her latest, critically acclaimed album ‘No Shame’, that didn’t make the final cut.
