Neymar’s Fresh Injury during Training Worries Five-Time Winners Brazil

The most expensive striker of football world, Neymar limped out of Brazil’s training session at the World Cup on Tuesday because of pain in his right ankle which creates a fear that he could miss their next match with Costa Rica this Friday.
The striker was seen wincing in pain after kicking a football during a fairly training tame training drill and covered his face with a hand in distress and was whisked away to receive physiotherapy for the remainder of the day.
According to Tite, the head coach of Brazil Neymar has only just returned from a broken foot after suffering a fractured metatarsal while playing for PSG in the Champions League last February.
The federation said Neymar has been in pain since the team’s 1-1 draw against Switzerland on Friday, when he was consistently fouled.
“Neymar left the training session with some pain in his right ankle because of the number of fouls he suffered in the game against Switzerland,” federation spokesman Vinicius Rodrigues said, “since today was only a recovery session for the starters, and he complained about pain, he ended going to rehabilitation”.
The Brazilian soccer confederation said the injury was not serious, adding Neymar left as a precaution and would be back in training on Wednesday.
“He was feeling pain thanks to the large number of fouls he suffered in the Switzerland game,”a spokesman told reporters, “’He complained of pain and so he went to physio and he will train normally on Wednesday”.
