The Newcastle Film Festival will be showcasing films from across the world. During the event there will be several world premieres, as well as screenings of classics featuring cast and crew and new films from all film genres. This year the Newcastle International Film Festival will take place from 29 March to 1 April. This is a unique platform for the global film industry to showcase excellence in film-making and to interact with artistes and technicians of world cinema. The festival will feature shorts, animation, documentaries, green films, student films, etc. Awards will be provided to recognise the outstanding and inspiring work of film makers, actors and creative talent.
