Chew Magna bury their concise indie-pop under unyielding guitar squall with noise-rock gem – ‘Secrets’

Even though it’s just a couple of minutes long Secrets is actually not that bad a track. The vocals on it are upbeat and have that positive mood about them. One of the things that is good about it is that the track doesn’t even need to have a hidden meaning to enjoy it. Just 2 minutes and 11 seconds of indie enjoyment. Even after having had a few listens just cannot find anything bad to say about, it

Legendary Brazilian guitarist Roberto Menescal & Celeste Caramanna feature on glorious new Muca track – ‘Like This Before’

A fantastic song, the absolute corker of a tune. Like This Before stays faithful to both of the artist’s Brazilian musical roots. Celeste’s singing mixes in effortlessly with Roberto’s instrumental music. The pace of the music doesn’t overdo itself as the slowness allows you to enjoy it and you can get lost just listening to Celeste’s voice it’s that comforting

Honestly, a sweet number which pays excellent homage to South American music

Erin K releases gorgeous new album – ‘Sink to Swim’!

Sealife, No Control, Coins and I Don’t Want to Play This Anymore. Just four of the songs from the new Sink or Swim record by Erin K. This is one of those albums where it’d be hard to find even the smallest fault with it. Everything has been put together to just absolute perfection. Going by the name, this one’s Swimming. Keep your eye on Erin as she’s someone to keep your eyes and ears on.

THE K’S – Release “Landmines” Video || + Announce New UK Tour Dates

Here’s a few ways in which I could sum up K’s Landmines song; a great indie rock tune, makes for some really good listening and just has that upbeat feel to it and the guitar riffs are equally as enjoyable as the singing. The video is just as great to watch as it’s guerilla style and shows the friendship of the band both on the road and when chilling out. No big budgets, just a camera and mates following each other

+ UK LIVE SHOWS THIS SUMMER

If you ever found yourself looking for a song (and artist) that wasn’t your typical singer songwriter, did things their own way but who’s music was a nod back to yesteryear ENJOYABLE LISTENS is it. Fierce Panda is one of those songs where even though the lyrics just sound dark and sultry they’re done in such a way they seem quite uplifting. Definitely a nod back to the 80’s here which actually gives it that more developed sound
