Grandiose synchronised swimming in Erin K’s – ‘Breathe’ video

If this video could be summed up in three words here’s what I would say; 50’s retro nostalgia, Baywatch and free-flowing. The concept of the video goes hand in hand with the song. Something that you have to admire about Erin K is her ability to use movement to translate her thoughts.

For this video, moving imagery and art are playing a big part as it’s being used to tell a story. If you are familiar with the 90’s TV show Baywatch you’ll be instantly recognize the red swimsuits that are used heavily throughout

FUNKE AND THE TWO TONE BABY – Reveals “Can’t Stop The Music” || + Announces ‘Reacclimate’ Album – 20 Oct

Now if you were to get acoustic guitar riffs, add then with electronic dance vibes, a bit of Funk, a little dash of country and some rap vocals this would be the end result. FUNKE has genuinely gone out of his way to make a record which sounds rock based yet makes it something you would want to let your feet go lose for.

A great record here, and something for acoustic and electronic fans and released ahead of his upcoming album, Reacclimate, as well as his tour. Dates and locations below

PROTEINS OF MAGIC – Releases hypnotic “Flesh It Out” Single || Watch The Video Now

An impressive video by Kelly Stevens, the face and voice behind Proteins of Magic. Part of the genius behind this is that it keeps you guessing as to what’s going on as one minute, you’re in the present and the next it’s like you’ve gone backwards in the past.

The clever trick with the video is that it’s kind of verging on video diary style as it’s like looking at someone’s life from the past few days, generally observing as things unfold

McKOWSKI – Lost Brother returns with Cinematic “Ask The Dust” || New Solo Album, Notes From the Boneyard, arrives 22 Sept

Mark McCausland, the Irish music maestro behind McKOWSKI and Lost Brothers has released his new single Ask The Dust, the title of which is taken from the Sci-Fi novel from his debut solo album, Notes From the Boneyard.

While Dust is an instrumental the structure of the melody has a soft, retro vibe to it but has something of an eerie undertone to it yet it still leaves you intrigued. The video kinda takes it to another dimension as it’s basically a video within a video, still with a retro touch
