Mo Farah Claims He Was Victim of Racial Harassment at Munich Airport

Olympic champion Mo Farah was on his way to Ethiopia for his final training before next month’s London Marathon when he claims he was at the wrong end of racially motivated harassment.
He broadcast the altercation with the law enforcement officer at Munich airport on Instagram Live. He later shared the video both on his Twitter and Instagram accounts with the caption: “Sad to see racial harassment in this day and age. 2018…!!!! #airport #germany.”
In the video, Farah is pushed along to the gate by a law enforcement officer. He claims the harassment was racially motivated, yet there is no clear evidence of this on the clip.
“This afternoon, there was an incident at a German airport while Mo was travelling back to his training camp in Ethiopia. Mo felt that the incident was racially motivated and that he was unfairly treated by the airport security staff,” a spokesperson for Mo Farah has said.
