No offence to cookies, cakes or brownies, but they’re just so expected. Less standard is surprising dessert hybrids that combine the usual suspects in glorious ways. Here mashup dessert recipes for you.
Dessert lasagna
We have a sneaking feeling you’re going to like this dessert lasagna recipe. Imagine layers of cookies and whipped cream and other decadent stuff. Best of all, you don’t even need to turn on the oven.
 
Ingredients: For this delicious lasagna you will need Oreo cookies, butter, cream Cheese, confectioners’ sugar, whipped chocolate yoghurt, whipped topping and cherry jam.
Making Process:

Take a bowl and pulse the Oreos until they are fine crumbs. Add the melted butter and pulse to combine. Press the mixture into the base of a 9-by-13-inch pan. For Cream Cheese Filling take a medium bowl, mix the cream cheese with the confectioners’ sugar to combine. Fold in the whipped topping and then set aside. Take another bowl for chocolate filling and fold the yoghurt with the whipped topping to combine.

When everything gets ready then Scoop half the cream cheese filling on top of the Oreo base and smooth it into an even layer. Top with an even layer of whole graham crackers. Spread half the jam into an even layer on top of the graham crackers. Scoop the chocolate filling on top of the jam and spread it into an even layer. Top with another layer of graham crackers and the remaining jam. Again Scoop the remaining cream cheese filling on top of the jam and spread it into an even layer. Top with an even layer of whipped topping. Crumble the remaining graham crackers and Oreos, and sprinkle the crumbs on top. Chill the lasagna, covered, for at least 20 minutes and up to two days. Keep chilled until ready to slice and serve.
 
Cookies and Cream Bread Pudding
This cookies and cream bread pudding make the perfect dessert as well as breakfast. The cookies are soft and there’s a delicious butter vanilla glaze slathered on top!

Ingredients:
10 cups challah bread, cubed 1 1/2 cups granulated sugar, 8 eggs, 2 cups heavy cream, 2 cups milk, 2 tsp. vanilla bean paste, 28 chocolate sandwich cookies quartered.
Making Process:
Let the diced bread dry for a day before making the bread pudding. In a large mixing bowl, whisk together the sugar and eggs until combined. Add in the heavy cream, milk, and vanilla bean paste. You can use vanilla extract in place of the paste if needed. Whisk until the mixture is incorporated. Spray a 9×13 pan with non-stick cooking spray. Place the dried cubed bread and pieces of cookie into the prepared pan. Pour the mixture over top of the bread and cookies. Cover with plastic wrap. Refrigerate the mixture for 2 hours or until the liquid is absorbed. Preheat oven to 350 degrees. Remove the plastic wrap and place into the oven and Bake for 50 minutes or until done.

The top will be golden brown. Let the bread pudding cool completely and cover with glaze. Glaze In a mixing bowl, add in the powdered sugar, butter vanilla bakery emulsion and heavy cream. Whisk until combined. Drizzle the glaze over top of the bread pudding. Cut and serve.
