Make Time for Self-Care This Autumn

Life can get hectic. We worry about our ever-growing to do lists, what other people think of us, if we are achieving, and the commitments we’re struggling to keep. Too often, we end up being far too hard on ourselves.
This is especially true for those who suffer with eating disorders.
These isolating serious mental illnesses can take a serious toll on people’s self-esteem and manipulate people into thinking they don’t deserve nice things or the help and support of others. At Beat we promote the importance of self-care and the hope of recovery through our helpline services which support people affected by eating disorders 365 days a year.
Our vision is a society where people with eating disorders experience care and understanding, and where they can quickly access the treatment and support they deserve.
This autumn you can support people affected by eating disorders and promote the importance of self-care by hosting a Beat Pamper Night. Get friends and family together to try out self-care techniques, try mediation or have a night of sheer indulgence with face masks and massages – the full works!
Ready to share the importance of self-care? Sign up to receive your Pamper Night fundraising pack at beateatingdisorders.org.uk/pamper-night.
