Lorde’s Splendour Performance Interrupted by Wardrobe Malfunction

The ‘Green Light’ pop star Lorde was forced to interrupt her performance at Splendour in the Grass this weekend after she suffered an onstage wardrobe malfunction.
The ‘Green Light’ pop star headlined the Byron Bay event last night, with the appearance being billed as her only Australian show, joining her on the line-up were the likes of Kendrick Lamar, Vampire Weekend, CHVRCHES, James Bay, MGMT and many more.
When the performance was going on, she faced wardrobe malfunction when her jacket pulled off which she handled very smartly.
Removing her silver jacket to show how her matching top had come undone in the back, Lorde tells the crowd that “my shirt has become disconnected from my body”.
“Will you give me a second to fix this and I’ll run back?” She asked the audience. “This is crazy, talk among yourself”.
“This is historically a very dancey night which I am happy about, but I want to show you something crazy that just happened to me,” Lorde told the audience.
After a few minutes, and the crowd’s rousing rendition of Hey Baby, Lorde returns to the stage, assuring fans “that should be fine now”.
