London Contemporary Dance School (LCDS) is one of the world’s leading specialist dance universities. They champion new ideas, embrace artistic innovation and enable extraordinary experiences for artists to realize their full potential. LCDS offers intensive technical and creative courses in Higher Education at both undergraduate and postgraduate levels. They have a BA (Hons) in Contemporary Dance. It is a three-year degree course that blends the study of dance practices, choreography, performance, and contextual dance. It also gives professional studies and dance science.
Two postgraduate programs are currently available: the MA Expanded Dance Practice, which allows students to work with multiple professional artists and advance their practice, and the MA Screendance, which is a practice-oriented program that examines movement on screen and is the only program of its kind in the world.
