Linkin Park Fans Unite In Quarantine

Around 266 musicians from over 35 different countries came together online to perform Linkin Park’s song “In the end”. Anika Khan Reports.

Linkin Park’ signature song “In the end” made headlines last week when it reached a billion views on YouTube. Fans of this phenomenon group then joined together to record a special cover of the track from their respected countries across the globe.

RocknMob, a YouTuber, organised the mass performance and created the video. The description of the video reads: “2020 brought us a lot of challenges but they couldn’t stop us from rocknmobing!”

More than 300 videos were produced during Quarantine to organize what we can call the first international rocknmob.

In an interview with NME, the members of the iconic group put out a statement for the fans to expect new songs and unreleased materials of Bennington. They described the entire process to be very difficult yet healing.
