Fans at Santa Teresa Music Festival vandalize the stage on Sunday night after several artists canceled their performance including rapper Lil Uzi Vert.
According to a report, The rapper’s fans waited for more than two hours at the Santa Teresa Festival on Sunday night before the festival’s organizers announced that the rapper would not be performing, citing a “lack of cooperation” from Canada Border Services.
“Lil Uzi Vert will unfortunately not be able to perform tonight due to a lack of cooperation from Canada Customs”, stated in a statement by the organizers of the festival “all ticket buyers will promptly receive an email for the refund procedure. Thank you for moving with calm and respect”.
After the cancellation was announced, fans expressed their frustration by hopping over the security fence and invading the stage. Videos of the moment show some fans knocking over speakers and monitors.
A person present at the festival claims that Trippie Redd and Ski Mask The Slump God also cancelled their scheduled appearances earlier in the day.
According to local reports, the refund process will be detailed in an email to ticket buyers soon.
Lil Uzi Vert was scheduled to perform at the 3-day music festival, which also featured performances from Fiest, Nick Murphy, Alice Glass, and numerous others.
