Dozens of Palestinians Injured on Gaza Border by Israeli Troops

After the first day of deadly protest, Israeli troops fired warning shots towards Palestinian protesters gathered at the Gaza-Israel border on Saturday which ended up injuring almost 13 peoples.
Earlier day at least 15 Palestinians were killed by Israeli security forces where almost ten thousand Palestinians were protesting for the right of return for refugees and their descendants to what is now Israel.
According to Gaza medical officials, this is one of the largest Palestinian demonstrations along the Israel-Gaza border in recent years. An Israeli military spokesman said the violence broke out when Palestinians gathered on the border and began throwing stones while examining the details of Saturday’s unrest.
Palestinian President Mahmoud Abbas declared Saturday a national day of mourning and a general strike was called across the occupied West Bank. Thousands attended funerals with mourners holding Palestinian flags and some chanting “revenge” and firing into the air.
“We won’t let this turn into a ping-pong zone where they perpetrate a terrorist act and we respond with pinpoint action,” said Israeli military spokesman Brigadier-General Ronen Manelis “if this continues we will have no choice but to respond inside the Gaza Strip”.
