Legendary metal band Slayer, the popular rapper Gucci Mane and electro-pop group Clean Bandit have all been confirmed to perform at Iceland’s Secret Solstice 2018 in the phase 2 announcement.Secret Solstice will be one of the many stops on Slayer’s Final World Tour.
Acts that had already been announced in phase 1 include the breakthrough and the ground-breaking Stormzy, as well as the legendary Bonnie Tyler and DJ extraordinaire Steve Aoki, plus many more international acts.
But Secret Solstice also makes an effort to showcase the very best of their own music scene. This year’s line-up includes many local musicians from a wide range of genres such as pop, hip-hop, rap and rock.
More artists will be announced in phase 3.
This year, Secret Solstice is celebrating its 5th birthday. Festival-goers will be able to enjoy a great line-up from 21-24 June, during which time the sun will not set as Spring morphs into Summer. This is a great chance to enjoy great music and take in the breathtaking views of the Icelandic scenery.
This festival also offers premium packages, Ooinn and Package of Gods, which include all sorts of extra commodities such as food and drink and exclusive helicopter tours of the island-nation.
