At this time of year Lebanon can be extremely cold, temperatures plummet, the rain will come and snow will fall.
For those without sufficient shelter, winter poses a serious problem. People like Marwa, Kadeem and their two young daughters, who live in a tiny two-room dwelling that offers little protection against the cold. There is little food, the children go hungry and because of their lack of shelter they are at risk of falling ill.
It is no place for a young family.
But there is hope! We are working with refugees and poor local Lebanese people to build and re-build their homes to make them warm and safe.
And you can help. A gift of just £18 would help towards fitting windows and doors provide heaters or make homes waterproof.
At this time of the year, the life-saving gift of a safe, warm home brings hope to a family. Please give generously.
