Harry Makes Music

While some of us will procrastinate, in quarantine or not, Harry Styles is making his time in self-isolation count by firing up his creative mojo.

Talking to Apple Music’s Zane Lowe over FaceTime, Harry opened up about writing and playing the guitar more now that he has the time.

“To be honest, I’m doing some of the stuff that I should be doing more often anyway. … I should be playing the guitar more. I should be writing poems and lyrics more. So I’ve been doing a lot of that,” said the 26 year old.
Besides writing and making music, Harry’s been meditating, going on drives, cooking and ordering in while the option’s still available.

Speaking about the pandemic, Styles took a serious note and said how lucky he was to be able to read and watch movies and take this time to rest and create while the situation is so scary for so many others around the world. The star said it was a humbling feeling when he thought about the many people who are separated from their families. Styles had recently paired up with friend Stevie Nicks to produce a PSA about social distancing.

Styles said that most musicians will be coming up with new material now while they stay at home. Although he personally didn’t mention any dates for the release of his new material, we’re excited just the same.

Styles’ last studio album ‘Fine Line’ was released on 13 December 2019.
