Gold & Grey

Artist > Baroness

The American band Baroness has announced their new album “Gold & Grey” which is going to release on June 14th along with revealing the full painting from which the cover artwork will be taken. Gold & Grey is the upcoming fifth studio album by Philadelphia-based heavy metal. The 17-song effort is being produced by Dave Fridmann.

This album will be the first Baroness record to feature guitarist Gina Gleason, who joined in 2017. The band performed the first single “Borderlines” at their North American tour kickoff in Houston on Friday night. More details on Baroness’ new album are expected shortly.

The cover art was done by front man Baizley and echos themes seen on prior recordings that prominently feature scantily clad woman intertwined with scenes inspired by nature in a gold and grey color scheme. The band debuted the album’s first single, “Borderlines” in Houston at the start of their co-headlining tour with Deafheaven in March 2019.
