This Film Festival is set to be jam-packed with over 100 film and film-related events taking place across the city, including seven Australian premieres and seven Queensland premieres. Movie lovers and potential filmmakers meet for 10 days every year for the Gold Coast Film Festival. This year the event will be held from 17 – 29 April.
Here, visitors have the opportunity to watch some of the most recent award-winning movies or to participate in film-making and cinematography workshops. Festival events include screenings, workshops, a host of short films, intimate filmmaker Q&A’s, conversations with prominent members of the film community and parties.
