Gajni Parjatan Center

This is a natural tourist spot where visitors can see the tribal life of tribes, natural beauty of hills, lakes, forest, lots of birds & many more. It is also known as “Gajni Obokash Kendro” and located 220 kilometer away from Dhaka in the Jhenagati upazila of Sherpur district.
The biggest attraction for tourists is a watchtower 60 ft high from where the scenic beauty of hills and mountain range of Meghalay (India) can be seen. Sometimes luckily one can see the wild elephants in the forest. A lake has been created by building a dam in the stream of a fountain, its charm and beauty makes the place mesmerizing and an ideal place for travel and picnic. There is also an amusement park.

There is also a 150 meter long tunnel down the hills and its dragon face entrance makes one feel like entering into the dragon’s stomach for real. There is also a two storied rest house at the top of the hill built by Parjatan Corporation for rest and recreation for tourists. This is a nice place with lots of species of trees and animals.

After visiting Gazni, tourists should visit Modhutila which is also in Sherpur. Modhutila Ecopark is unknown tourist place for maximum people of other districts. It has outstanding natural beauty and pleasant environment for recreation.Visitor can see there Meghlay, plants, animals, waterfall, lake etc.
