Free Merch Given by Frank Ocean to Fans who Vote in US Midterms

Frank Ocean is rewarding fans with free merchandise who can prove they participated in voting in the 2018 Midterm elections.
The ‘Blonde’ artist broadcast his eighth Beats 1 radio show, blonded RADIO, early morning on 6 November. Its latest edition, blonded Midterms pt. 1, focused on political discussion as US citizens headed out to vote.
In the flyer image posted, Ocean notes that “locations were chosen in states to support specific candidates: Stacey Abrams in Georgia, who if elected would be America’s first Black female governor, Andrew Gillum in Florida, who would become the state’s first Black governor and Beto O’Rourke, who would be the first Democratic senator in Texas in 24 years.” The flyer also features art that explains why the “42%,” which is the non-voting populace needs to vote as “the largest political group in America.”
Ocean said during the show that he would gift fans with free merch if they have evidence that they voted. There will be pop-up shops in Houston, Miami, Atlanta, and Dallas – with the locations chosen because of important votes taking place in those cities.
