The innovative Glaswegian born artist Frank To will be showcasing his latest exhibition at the Perth Museum and Art Gallery.
Frank is an inspirational and exceptional artist who has a loyal fan base including Star Trek legend Patrick Stewart who has bought several pieces of Frank’s work.
Frank creates paintings inspired by stories attributed to the Renaissance sculptor, Michelangelo.
He will lift the lid on his unique drawing techniques, and the work that goes into his ‘gunpowder art’, as part of the second Platform Contemporary Arts Festival in Perth, which runs from 24 – 31 March 2018.
The Perth artist, also a lecturer at Perth College UHI, is working closely with The Perth Museum and Art Gallery as he puts together a new set of drawings inspired by the Old Masters of Europe and the Museum’s permanent collection.
Platform celebrates the best artists and creative industries in Perth and Kinross. The week-long programme includes exhibitions, performances, music, artists talks, gigs, special installations, drama and film and workshops at venues across the region.
